AI Usage & Transparency Policy

Effective January 1, 2026

Prerun AI, LLC ("Prerun," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to responsible, transparent, and accountable use of artificial intelligence technologies.

This AI Usage & Transparency Policy describes how artificial intelligence systems may be utilized within the Services, the role of AI providers, limitations of AI-generated outputs, customer responsibilities, and Prerun's commitments regarding governance, transparency, security, and responsible AI practices.

This Policy forms part of the Prerun legal and compliance framework and should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum ("DPA"), Subprocessor List, Trust Center documentation, and other applicable agreements.

1. PURPOSE

1.1 Objective

Prerun provides software designed to centralize organizational knowledge, train and certify AI agents, validate information, and deliver trusted context to artificial intelligence systems, agents, workflows, applications, and automation platforms.

Because AI technologies are integrated into portions of the Services, Prerun believes customers should understand:

(a) how AI is used;

(b) how customer information may be processed;

(c) the limitations of AI systems;

(d) the role of human oversight; and

(e) the governance controls applied to AI-enabled functionality.

1.2 Transparency Commitment

Prerun is committed to providing transparency regarding:

(a) AI-enabled functionality;

(b) AI service providers;

(c) customer data handling;

(d) AI governance practices;

(e) model limitations; and

(f) responsible AI usage principles.

2. AI FUNCTIONALITY WITHIN THE SERVICES

2.1 AI-Powered Features

The Services may utilize artificial intelligence technologies to support:

(a) content generation;

(b) content validation;

(c) knowledge organization;

(d) classification and categorization;

(e) summarization;

(f) readiness assessments;

(g) agent certification;

(h) scoring and benchmarking;

(i) recommendations;

(j) metadata generation;

(k) retrieval and analysis;

(l) workflow assistance; and

(m) related functionality.

2.2 Agent Training and Certification

Prerun provides functionality intended to evaluate, train, benchmark, rehearse, validate, score, certify, or assess AI agents, workflows, prompts, knowledge repositories, and related resources.

These capabilities are intended to assist organizations in evaluating AI readiness prior to deployment and throughout the AI lifecycle.

2.3 Continuous Governance

Prerun is designed to support ongoing governance, validation, and operational oversight rather than one-time evaluation activities.

Customers are encouraged to continuously monitor, update, retrain, validate, and certify AI systems as organizational knowledge evolves.

3. AI SERVICE PROVIDERS

3.1 AI Providers

Prerun may utilize one or more third-party AI providers to deliver requested functionality.

Current AI providers may include:

(a) Anthropic;

(b) OpenAI; and

(c) additional providers identified within the Subprocessor List.

3.2 Provider Changes

Prerun may add, remove, or modify AI providers from time to time as technology, customer requirements, platform capabilities, regulatory requirements, or business needs evolve.

3.3 Customer-Connected Providers

Customers may independently connect third-party AI platforms, agents, automation systems, orchestration tools, or development environments to the Services.

Such customer-directed connections are controlled by the customer and are governed by the applicable third-party provider's terms, privacy policies, and processing commitments.

4. CUSTOMER DATA AND AI PROCESSING

4.1 Customer Authorization

By using AI-enabled functionality, customers authorize Prerun to process Customer Content through AI systems where reasonably necessary to provide requested functionality.

4.2 Customer Control

Customers control:

(a) what information is submitted;

(b) what knowledge is published;

(c) what content is processed;

(d) what integrations are enabled; and

(e) how AI functionality is utilized.

4.3 Customer Responsibility

Customers remain responsible for determining whether information submitted to AI systems is appropriate for their legal, regulatory, contractual, security, privacy, and operational requirements.

5. MODEL TRAINING COMMITMENTS

5.1 No Proprietary Foundation Model Training

Except where expressly authorized by Customer, Prerun does not use Customer Content to train proprietary foundation models.

5.2 No Intentional Contribution to Public Training Datasets

Prerun does not intentionally contribute Customer Content to publicly available foundation model training datasets.

5.3 Enterprise AI Providers

Where commercially reasonable, Prerun seeks to utilize enterprise-grade contractual arrangements that restrict provider use of submitted content for model training purposes.

5.4 Customer Review

Customers should independently review the privacy commitments, trust documentation, and contractual terms of AI providers identified within the Trust Center and Subprocessor List.

6. AI OUTPUT LIMITATIONS

6.1 Probabilistic Systems

Artificial intelligence systems are inherently probabilistic and may generate:

(a) inaccurate information;

(b) hallucinated information;

(c) incomplete information;

(d) outdated information;

(e) biased outputs;

(f) misleading conclusions; and

(g) unexpected results.

6.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy

Prerun does not guarantee that AI-generated outputs are:

(a) accurate;

(b) complete;

(c) reliable;

(d) current;

(e) legally compliant;

(f) suitable for a specific purpose; or

(g) free from bias or error.

6.3 Verification Requirement

Customers should independently review, validate, test, and approve outputs before relying upon them.

7. HUMAN OVERSIGHT

7.1 Human Accountability

Prerun believes that humans remain responsible for decisions made using AI systems.

7.2 High-Impact Decisions

AI-generated outputs should not serve as the sole basis for:

(a) legal decisions;

(b) regulatory decisions;

(c) employment decisions;

(d) financial decisions;

(e) healthcare decisions;

(f) compliance determinations; or

(g) other high-impact decisions.

7.3 Review Expectations

Customers should implement appropriate human oversight processes before deploying AI systems into production environments. Human oversight, transparency, accountability, and risk management are widely recognized pillars of enterprise AI governance.

8. CERTIFICATION AND READINESS LIMITATIONS

8.1 Informational Nature

Agent certifications, readiness scores, validation results, recommendations, assessments, approvals, benchmarks, and related outputs generated through the Services are informational in nature.

8.2 No Warranty of Readiness

Certification or validation does not guarantee:

(a) production readiness;

(b) legal compliance;

(c) regulatory approval;

(d) operational safety;

(e) cybersecurity compliance;

(f) business outcomes; or

(g) successful deployment.

8.3 Customer Responsibility

Customers remain solely responsible for determining whether an AI system is suitable for deployment.

9. RESPONSIBLE AI PRINCIPLES

Prerun seeks to operate AI-enabled functionality in a manner consistent with the following principles:

9.1 Transparency

Providing meaningful information regarding AI usage, capabilities, limitations, and providers.

9.2 Accountability

Maintaining organizational responsibility for AI governance and platform operations.

9.3 Human Oversight

Supporting human review and decision-making authority.

9.4 Security

Protecting customer information through appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

9.5 Privacy

Processing information in accordance with applicable agreements and privacy obligations.

9.6 Continuous Improvement

Improving governance, transparency, security, and operational controls over time.

10. PROHIBITED AI USES

Customers may not knowingly utilize the Services to create, deploy, or facilitate:

(a) unlawful surveillance;

(b) malicious software;

(c) credential theft systems;

(d) fraudulent schemes;

(e) deceptive impersonation;

(f) unlawful discrimination;

(g) violations of applicable law; or

(h) activities prohibited under the Terms of Service.

11. AI GOVERNANCE AND MONITORING

11.1 Governance Philosophy

Prerun believes that effective AI governance requires ongoing monitoring, validation, accountability, transparency, and operational oversight rather than one-time assessments. Continuous governance, transparency, accountability, and monitoring are increasingly viewed as core enterprise AI governance requirements.

11.2 Continuous Validation

Organizations should regularly evaluate:

(a) knowledge quality;

(b) agent behavior;

(c) policy alignment;

(d) readiness status;

(e) operational performance; and

(f) governance controls.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Prerun may update this AI Usage & Transparency Policy from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated through:

(a) the Services;

(b) account notifications;

(c) email communications; or

(d) other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Services following the effective date of an updated policy constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy.

14. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By using the Services, customers acknowledge that artificial intelligence functionality may be utilized as described in this Policy and that AI systems are subject to limitations, uncertainty, and the need for human oversight.

Customers further acknowledge that responsible deployment, governance, validation, and monitoring of AI systems remain shared responsibilities between Prerun and the customer.
